site of James M. Wood, CPA. Our site contains information frequently
requested by our clients. Additional information will be added
periodically.
Our firm's primary
goal is to provide personal service to clients. We assess the
individual needs of each client and tailor our services
accordingly. We provide quality audit, accounting, tax, and consulting
services. The firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and undergoes a peer review of the accounting practice
and system of quality control every third year. The most recent peer
review was completed in October 2012; an unmodified report was
received.
Peer Review Report
We have a diverse
client base including nonprofit organizations, local financial
institutions, small businesses, and individuals. A list of references
is available upon request.
Our staff is
thoroughly trained in various areas of taxation, auditing and accounting,
meeting all educational requirements for the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy,
and the General Accounting Office (Single Audit).
